Former Local Government Minister, Nigel Dharamlall is at the Cove and John Police station today for questioning.
Attorney at Law Bernard Da Silva accompanied him to the station
Da Silva stated that Dharamlall would be questioned by the police.
It follows a rape complaint lodged by Sarah Hakh against Dharamlall at the Cove and John Station.
The police today issued the following statement:
Dharamlall being questioned by investigators at Cove and John
Relative to the sexual assault allegations levelled against former minister Nigel Dharamlall, at 9:20hrs this morning, Mr Dharamlall turned himself in to Police at Cove and John Police Station, ECD. Investigators are currently questioning him in relations to the allegations made.
