Albert, Rampersaud attain historic bodybuilding ‘Pro Cards’

Guyanese Nicholas Albert and Hannah Rampersaud secured their historic IFBB Professional Card following brilliant performances at the Roger Boyce Classic in Barbados. 

 Albert prevailed in the 90kg class en route to winning the overall title. On the other hand, Rampersaud won the Women’s Wellness Senior segment and finished second overall.

 Albert now joins Bruce Whatley, who accomplished the feat in 2018, as the only two male Guyanese to achieve professional status in the discipline.

 Similarly, Rampersaud joins the duo of Laura Cravelle and Rosanna Fung, who achieved the feat in 1979 and 2022, respectively, as the third Guyanese female to enter the professional realm.
