Labourer remanded over felonious wounding at Henrietta

Romario Walcott, 26, a labourer of Queenstown, Essequibo Coast was arrested on Sunday, May 5, 2024,  on a charge of felonious wounding and was remanded yesterday.

The police said in a statement that the offence was allegedly committed on Tulsie Ram on May 5th at Henrietta, Essequibo Coast.

The accused appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke and the charge was read to him.

The prosecutor objected to bail and Walcott was remanded to prison.

This matter was adjourned to June 5th, 2024.
