(Trinidad Express) The body of 16-year-old Sourav Nanan was found in Sangre Grande yesterday.
Around midday, residents of Williams Street in Boys Town detected a stench and found Nanan’s body under a nearby bridge, some 500 metres from the roadway.
His hands and feet were bound and there were marks of violence on the body.
The police were notified and officers from the Eastern Division and Homicide Bureau responded.
Nanan, who lived in Sangre Grande, was reported missing last week after he failed to return home and calls to his cellular phone went unanswered.
A post-mortem will be performed to confirm the cause of death.
