Panthers maul Circuitville in East Bank Demerara football

Culwin Cort of the Timehri Panthers converts from the penalty spot into the roof of the net

Timehri Panthers clawed past Circuitville 5-3 when the East Bank Demerara Football Association’s (EBDFA) Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre in Providence.

Culwin Cort fashioned a double in the 17th and 34th minutes, while Doren McNeil, Luton Wass, and Nathaniel Paul scored in the 33rd, 86th, and 88th minutes, respectively. On target in the loss with a brace was Schumar Schultz in the 58th and 85th minutes, while Nikosi Morris netted in the 63rd minute.

Meanwhile, the Herstelling Raiders defeated Friendship via walkover. Herstelling was awarded the three points and a +3 goal differential.
