Tomorrow, Friday, May 17, 2024, the Central Housing and Planning Authority will be relocating and reconfiguring GPL’s network to facilitate Road Expansion work at Greenfield Park Road, which will affect electricity supply for customers from 9:00 to 15:00 hrs in the following areas:
New Providence, Somerset Court, Elaine Ville, Phase 3 Republic Park, Greenfield Park Road, Red Road, Richmond Ville and Remigrant Scheme Providence.
A release from the Guyana Power and Light said that the exercise is part of the Government of Guyana’s infrastructural development initiative aimed at easing access between the Old East Bank 4-lane Highway and Hero’s Highway and alleviating current traffic congestion.
