The New York Police Department (NYPD) team which visited Guyana this week met with civil society leaders and representatives to discuss effective community policing relations. US Ambassador to Guyana, Nicole Theriot was present at the meeting. The NYPD team was led by First Deputy Commissioner Tania Kinsella who has Guyanese ancestry.
