National table tennis champion Chelsea Edghill will resume her quest to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games today when she battles Cuba’s Etela Crespo in the International Table Tennis Federation’s (ITTF) Americas Olympic Qualification event in Lima, Peru.
Edghill was paired against Crespo following the official draw yesterday. Edghill experienced a setback in her bid to qualify for the global event, as she was defeated on Tuesday.
Edghill, who competed at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, lost to Roxy Gonzalez of Venezuela 6-11, 7-11, 11-9, 6-11, and 13-15.
