Mulkumar Bhopaul, 28, a labourer of Lot 18 Betsy Ground Village, East Canje Berbice was arrested on May 15, 2024 for armed robbery on Sasnarine Somwaru, a rice farmer of the same village on May 14, 2024.
The accused appeared at Reliance Magistrate’s Court on Friday before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh, and the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty and bail was granted in the sum of $200,000
This matter was adjourned to July 27, 2024.
