Guyana’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) combatant Carlston Harris was defeated in his return to Octagon last evening, as he lost via knockout to American Khaos Williams at the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) Fight Night 241 at the Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada.

It was the sixth overall loss for Harris and his second in the UFC, as he was saved by the official following an overhand right which led to an impending ground and pound sequence at 1:30 in the first round. Harris’s record stands at 19-6 (UFC 4-2), as the defeat snaps a two-fight win streak.

In his prior outing, Harris defeated American Jeremiah Wells at UFC Fight Night 226 on August 5th, 2023. It was Harris’s fourth win under the UFC banner as he forced Wells to submit via an anaconda choke with 1:50s remaining in round three.

His previous loss in the UFC came at the hands of unbeaten contender Shavkat Rakhmonov of Kazakhstan via a first-round knockout on the main card of the promotion’s Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Strickland event on February 5th, 2022.
