Wismar/Christianburg, Brickdam, and Patentia secured their berths in the ExxonMobil Boy’s and Girl’s U-14 Football Championship, following wins in the qualifying segment yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Wismar/Christianburg thumped St. Stanislaus College 4-0. Similarly, Brickdam mauled West Demerara 5-0. On the other hand, Patentia dismissed Yarrowkabra 3-1.
In other results, Hope Secondary brushed aside Vreed-en-Hoop 3-0, while Annandale dismantled Institute of Excellence by an identical score. Also, West Minster downed Charity 2-0, while Cotton Tree squeaked past Belladrum 1-0.
