Armed motorcycle bandits rob chef outside her Kitty home

Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery, committed on a chef at her Kitty home by motorcycle bandits. Aleya Fiedtkou has estimated her losses at $221,000 in possessions.

According to reports, at about 10:50 yesterday morning, Fiedtkou, a 29-year-old chef of Lot 53 Stanley Place and David Street Kitty, was approached at her home by two identifiable men on a black trip motorcycle. The duo, one of whom was carrying a knife, relieved her of a black handbag, valued at $6,000, which contained $15,000, personal documents, and an Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max valued at $200,000.

This newspaper understands that Fiedtkou was about to enter her yard when she was confronted by the two perpetrators. The police report said that one of the robbers placed a knife to her neck, while the other raised his jersey showing her what appeared to be a firearm at his waist.

After successfully carrying out the robbery, the two men returned to their motorcycle and rode south along Stanley Place, Kitty. A police sergeant, who was sitting in his personal vehicle at the intersection of Stanley Place and Gordon Street, witnessed the robbery and saw the perpetrators approaching. He exited his vehicle and used his service weapon to fire three shots in their direction. However, they managed to escape by riding south along Vlissengen Road.

The police report stated that several witnesses were questioned and surveillance footage from the area was collected, but it has not yet been reviewed. Health institutions in the area were also visited in an attempt to gather information about the perpetrators.
