Kuru Kuru ‘A’ were crowned champions of the second edition of the PPP-sponsored Soesdyke/ Timehri Highway Cluster Futsal Championship on Sunday amid light showers of rain. The victorious side needled Waiakabra in the final to lift the trophy.

Kevon Scott’s lone first half goal sealed the deal for the champions, which saw them lifting the championship trophy and walking away with the $400,000 first place prize.
