On Sunday, members of the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) gathered at the Golden Grove/Haslington Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC) Boardroom to conduct their elections.
Presiding over the Elections was Lawrence Griffith and by the end of the process, Rickford Profitt had emerged victorious, assuming the post of new EDFA President.
Additionally, Walston Martin and Aaron Blackman were inserted as Committee Members while Tessa Nedd was named the Assistant Secretary/ Treasurer and Kevin Morgan named as the General Secretary.
Duane Duncan and Grantly Adams will deputize as 1st and 2nd Vice-Presidents respectively with Luan Gooding serving as Treasurer.
Present at the election was Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Vice-President Dion Innis and outgoing EDFA President Alfred King.
