Guyana registered mixed results yesterday as Dennis Dias triumphed in his group stage encounter while Robin lost in his divisional fixture in the BCQS International Squash Tournament in Christ Church, Barbados.
In the Men 65 and Over Division, Dias defeated Trevor Dunkley of Great Britain in straight sets 11-3, 11-9, and 11-2. Meanwhile, Low went down to Tony MacKenzie of Barbados in straight sets of 3-11, 4-1, and 8-11.
In total, four Guyanese are participating in the event. The other competitors are Regan Pollard (Men’s 45-54) and Joseph Mekdeci (Men’s Over 55). The event continues today at the same venue with another round of matches.
