Golden Jags in Brazil for two-week World Cup training camp

With their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign slated to commence on June 6th, the Golden Jaguars are currently undertaking a two-week training camp in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as part of the preparatory phase.

This was disclosed in a release from the Guyana Football Federation (GFF).

According to the correspondence, the camp, which was organised by the Rio de Janeiro State Transport Secretary, Washington Reis, in collaboration with businessmen and siblings Faizal and Kabir Khan, commenced on May 19th and featured 28 local and foreign-based players.
