Wayne Summer, 58, and Shawn Baynes, 45, both of Victoria Village, East Coast Demarara, were arrested on May 17, 2024 by the Police for the offence of harbouring a wanted person.
On Tuesday May 21, 2024 both defendants appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Fabayo Azore, where the charge was read to them and they both pleaded not guilty, the police said in a release.
Bail was refused and they were both remanded to prison until June 18, 2024
They were accused of harbouring Dexter McDonald called ‘Labba’
