The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) outflanked Eagles 3-0 when the Demerara Volleyball Association’s (DVA) Senior Men’s League continued at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
It was a clinical performance from the army unit, which was underscored by their exploits in the first set, as they dominated to prevail 25-20. This set the tone for the remainder of the contest.
GDF then doubled their lead in the second stanza, as they triumphed 25-22. The third set mirrored the preceding skirmish, as GDF prevailed by an identical score to secure the deserved victory. The event continues today at the same venue.
