Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Linden Zone
The Linden edition of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ got into the business end of the tournament, and Hardball Management was the first outfit to book their spot in the semifinals with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Excuse The Rush (ETR) in their quarterfinal fixture.
Playing in front of a sizable crowd at the Christianburg Hard-court last night, the first half saw end-to-end action with both sides carving out half chances, but neither side could gain an advantage. A midfield battle ensued, and by the halftime whistle, the score remained 0-0.
However, the second half would bring the tiebreaker as Terry Phillip dribbled his way into space to slot home, sending Hardball Management into the lead in the 22nd minute.
