Bush Lot and West Minster were crowned the Region #3 and #5 divisional winners, respectively, in the Blue Water Girl’s U-15 Football Championships.
Staged at the No. 5 ground, West Coast Berbice, the Bush Lot unit ended with a perfect 3-0 record at the conclusion of the group segment.
They defeated Belladrum 2-0 in their first match before brushing aside Rosignol 3-0 in their second outing. In the final group encounter, Bush Lot swamped Fort Wellington 16-0.
Meanwhile, West Minster secured the title at the West Demerara Secondary School ground after ending with a record of three wins and a draw to finish on seven points and a +12 goal difference.
West Minster downed Uitvlugt 3-1 in their opening fixture. They then drew with Vreed-en-Hoop 0-0 before thrashing West Demerara 4-0 in their third match.
In their final encounter, West Minster mauled L’Aventure 6-0.
