After weeks of intense inter-prison verbal duelling, the Guyana Prison Service (GPS) annual impromptu speech competition concluded on Wednesday at the various prison locations.
A release from the GPS said that the respective winners from each location are – Lennox Eswick (Georgetown Prison), Ranford Williams (Mazaruni Prison), Afzal Dindyal (Lusignan Prison), Yohan London (Timehri Prison) and Davenand Dhandari (New Amsterdam Prison). These GPS photos show the winners receiving their awards.
