Dr Frank Anthony, Minister of Health, Guyana was today elected the First Vice President of the 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
A release from the Ministry of Health said that Anthony is currently attending the Seventy-seventh session of the World Health Assembly (WHA) scheduled to run from 27 May to 1 June, with the participation of ministers of health and other high-level country representatives from around the world.
The WHA session is being held under the theme: “All for Health, Health for All”.
