The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Doodnauth Singh, a 40-year-old labourer whose decomposed body was discovered lying on a bed on Sunday morning at his friend’s Lot 188 # 70 Village Corentyne, Berbice house.
The death of Singh of Lot 67 Number 68 Village Corentyne occurred between Saturday, May 25 at 7 am and Sunday, May 26th at about 7 am.
No foul play is suspected, the police said.
The body was taken to the Skeldon Public Hospital by the Police and is lying at the Anthony funeral Home, Epsom, Corentyne where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
