The Office of the First Lady is to collaborate with the Ministry of Public Works and Sheriff Guyana Inc to develop and beautify the Independence Park in Region Two.
The sod-turning ceremony yesterday morning, marked the official commencement of this initiative. Attendees included First Lady Arya Ali, Region Two Chair Vilma De Silva, Mayor of Anna Regina Devin Mohan, and Managing Director of Sheriff Guyana Ameir Ahmad.
Speaking before the sod-turning exercise, the First Lady expressed her excitement about extending her beautification efforts to Pomeroon-Supenaam.
