The West Indies Men’s T20 World Cup squad arrived in Guyana today ahead of their first game against Papua New Guinea on Sunday at the Providence National Stadium.
Sons of Guyanese soil, Gudakesh Motie, Sherfane Rutherford, Rosario Sheperd and Shamar Joseph along with West Indies Head Coach Daren Sammy spoke to the media upon their arrival at the Marriott Hotel in Georgetown where they encouraged fans to come out in their numbers on Sunday.
