In the bottom of the table clash, ninth placed Monedderlust defeated 10th positioned Buxton United 2-1 when round two of the KFC Elite League resumed last evening at the National Training Centre in Providence.
Atlyn Brown bagged a first-half brace in the sixth and 26th minutes for the Berbicians. On target in the loss was Daviel Talbot in the 87th minute. It was only the second win for Monedderlust, as they climbed seven points and remain in the ninth position.
On the other hand, it was the ninth defeat for the East Coast Demerara unit, which remains in the cellar position by a point. The event continues tomorrow at the same venue with another round of matches.
