Safirah Sumner continued their dominant showing in the Kraft Mac and Cheese Junior Squash Championship, overcoming Demetri Love 3-2 last evening at the Georgetown Club Squash Courts on Camp Street.
Sumner prevailed in the five-set thriller 11-6, 8-11, 11-5, 5-11, and 11-4 to continue her unbeaten run in the B-Division. Meanwhile, Richard Rodrigues downed Blake Edwards 11-3, 4-11, 11-7, and 11-8, while Jeremy Ten-Pow brushed aside Ethan Bulkan 11-4, 11-5, and 11-7 in the same category.
In other results, Justin Goberdhan defeated Malia Maikoo 11-4, 11-6, and 11-8; Kaylee Lowe thrashed Tiana Gomes 11-6, 11-3, and 11-8; and Rylee Rodrigues edged Brenno Da Silva 5-11, 11-4, 9-11, 12-10, and 11-2 in the C-Division.
