Police Sergeant Ronaldo Brummel, 25, died in an accident at about 12:30 this morning on the public road at Montrose, East Coast Demerara.

The police said in  a statement that the accident involved a white Premio motor car (Registration #PNN 3100), owned by Winston Clifton and driven at the time by Ravin Singh,  a 27-year-old Montrose resident, and a Black Honda motorcycle  (#CM 9530) owned and ridden by Brummel, a 25-year-old Police Sergeant stationed at Traffic Headquarters and attached to the Commissioner of Police Secretariat.
