Three held over suspected ganja at Port Kaituma

Police have arrested three persons, including two teenagers, following an intelligence-led operation on Friday night at a makeshift camp at Washbay Creek in Port Kaituma, North West District (NWD), which resulted in the discovery of 8,232.9 grams of suspected cannabis.

Acting on information received, a Gazetted Police Officer and other ranks proceeded to Washbay Creek in Port Kaituma, NWD, at the makeshift camp. A statement from the police said that on arrival at the camp, ranks observed the two teenagers (18-years-old) and a 33-year-old, all of whom are from Imbotero, NWD, Region One.
