Nevertheless, Fruta Conquerors secured the vital win, as Makhaya Jervis made his presence felt with a 68th-minute conversion. With the win, Fruta Conquerors climb into sixth place on 13 points. On the other hand, it was the sixth defeat for Western Tigers and their second on the trot, as they remain in fifth place with 15 points.
