Divisional champs Waramuri, Bartica storm to wins in U-14 football

Defending divisional champions Waramuri and Bartica recorded convincing wins when the 5th edition of the ExxonMobil Boy’s and Girl’s Schools U-14 Football Championship continued at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

In the girl’s section, Waramuri thumped Christ Church 7-0. Brentia Marks tallied a brace in the ninth and 17th minutes, while Erika Harris bagged a double in the 15th and 23rd minutes. Adding goals in the second and 20th minutes, respectively, were Nickisha Williams and Electra Marks. Adding to the score was my own goal.

Likewise, Bartica dismantled Annandale 4-1. Jadon Christian tallied a hat-trick in the fifth, 19th, and 27th minutes, while Gerald Hamid recorded a conversion in the 23rd minute. For the loser, S. Rogers netted in the ninth minute.
