The Guyana Police Force arrested Santos 2-0 when the KFC Elite League resumed on Saturday evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Following a scoreless first half period, the lawmen opened the scoring in the form of Nicholas MacArthur, who found the back of the net in the 74th minute. The result was then sealed in the 90th+2 minute, as Neron Barrow made his presence felt.
It was the eighth win for the officers, who climbed to 25 points and solidified their third-place position. On the other side, it was the fifth loss for Santos, who remain in fourth place with 18 points.
