Nicholas Verwey, Safirah Sumner, and Justin Goberdhan clinched respective divisional titles when the Kraft Mac and Cheese Junior Squash Championship concluded yesterday at the Georgetown Club Squash Courts on Camp Street.
Verwey dismantled Michael Alphonso 11-8, 11-3, and 11-6 to finish with a perfect record in the division. In identical fashion, Sumner bested Ethan Bulkan 11-9, 11-9, and 12-10 to complete a flawless campaign in the B-Category.
Likewise, Justin Goberdhan downed Rylee Rodrigues 11-13, 11-4, 11-4, and 11-7 to complete a flawless showing in the C-Division.
Meanwhile, Egan Bulkan won the D-Division following a flawless record. Bulkan, in his final fixture, defeated Jacob McDonald 11-1, 11-1, and 11-4. Also, Zoey McDonald captured the E-Divisional title after ending the group stage with a perfect record. McDonald defeated Tehani Munroe 11-6, 11-6, 9-11, 9-11, and 11-8.
