Shaquille Leacock, 24, died yesterday after he was stabbed on Wednesday at Turkeyen, Georgetown by one of two male attackers.
Reports are that Leacock was sitting on a culvert when the incident occurred. An eyewitness told investigators that she saw the victim being chased by the two suspects. One of the suspects, who was armed with a knife, stabbed Leacock in his abdomen and once to his left thigh. Leacock then ran out of the yard and collapsed while the assailants fled.
The ambulance service was summoned, and the victim was transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital and admitted. He succumbed to his injuries yesterday.
