Police in Regional Division 4C conducted ‘Cordon and Search’ operations on Thursday in the Sparendaam and Beterverwagting Police Station Districts, where several locations were searched.
On the northern side of Britton Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara, the police said ranks found one ziploc bag in a clump of bushes containing leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be Cannabis.
The narcotic was taken to the Sparendaam Police Station, where it was weighed and amounted to 152.5 grams. No arrest was made.
