Oil and gas support facility, Guyana Shore Base Inc (GYSBI), yesterday announced the expansion of its Technical Scholarship programme at the Georgetown and Leonora technical institutes for ten persons from Region Three, a release from the company stated.
This initiative will cover expenses such as travelling, uniforms, study materials, registration, and examination fees to the tune of $500,000.
GYSBI Executive Director, Robin Muneshwer, who announced the undertaking explained that it is specifically geared for students in Region Three since GYSBI, known for its shore base services, also specialises in construction and has been executing works over the past year at the proposed Gas-to-Energy project site at Wales, West Bank Demerara.
