Local NGO, Policy Forum Guyana, has announced the launch of its 1.5 Lifestyle Starter Kit, coinciding with the global observance of World Environment Day which was observed on June 5, a release from the organisation stated last week.

This groundbreaking initiative, it explained, is designed to ignite a movement among Guyanese citizens towards embracing eco-friendly practices and curbing global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

Policy Forum Guyana (PFG) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that was established in 2015.  It focuses primarily on accountability and transparency issues related to natural resources, climate change, and extractive industries whilst promoting environmental education through the 1.5° lifestyle.
