LUCAS STOCK INDEX (LSI)
The Lucas Stock Index rose 0.015 percent on the sale of 103,480 shares during the first period of trading in June 2024. Five stocks traded during the period with two Climbers and no Tumblers causing the market value to record a slight gain of G$111M.
The stock price of Sterling Products Limited (SPL) rose 0.279 percent on the sale of 36 shares while that of Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (BTI) rose 0.129 percent on the sale of 9,105 shares.
In the meanwhile, the stock price of Banks DIH (DIH), Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), and Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) remained unchanged on the sale of 87,314; 4,085 and 2,940 shares respectively.
The LSI closed at 1,291.864.
