Carlton Baker, a 39-year-old from Parfait Har-monie, West Bank Demerara, was arrested on 06th June 2024 by a rank from the Ruimveldt Police Station and charged yesterday with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Dicky Peters on 08th May 2024.
The accused appeared at the Diamond Magis-trate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded guilty to the offence. Bail was refused pending a probation report for sentencing. The matter was adjourned to June 27th, 2024.
