Guyana women’s hockey team to compete at PAHF Challenge

The Guyana National Women’s Hockey Provisional Squad

The Guyana Women’s Team will compete in the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) Challenge, which is scheduled for Hamilton, Bermuda, from September 20th-28th.

This was disclosed in a press release from the Guyana Hockey Board. According to the correspondence, the competition serves as a qualifier for the 2025 PAHF Cup in Uruguay, noting that six nations will compete for the solitary participation berth.

The other competing teams are Bermuda, Brazil, Jamaica, Peru, and Mexico. The release stated, “Of the six teams, Mexico is the highest-ranked team listed as #37 in the world, followed by Peru as #41, Brazil at #54, Jamaica at #67, Bermuda at #68, and Guyana at #70.”
