Eight Indian nationals have been handed over to the Surinamese officials after they were nabbed attempting to enter Guyana illegally yesterday during the wee hours at the Number 63 Beach, Corentyne.
Police last evening said that ranks on patrol at the Number 63 Beach just after midnight observed two motor cars, PAB 9258 and HD 26 which were heading north and stop suddenly.
“As a result, the ranks approached the two vehicles and observed each vehicle with four occupants and the driver, respectively. The occupants were taken to the Springlands Police Station.”
