Back Circle, Touches, and Five O secured contrasting victories when the 6th edition of the Mocha Village Cup ‘Soft Shoe’ Football Championship resumed at the community centre ground.
Back Circle dismantled Broad Street 4-1. Nigel Boyce bagged a double in the second and seventh minutes, while Deon Baptiste and Teon Sampson scored in the fourth and 16th minutes, respectively. On target in the loss was Jimmy Gravesande in the 18th minute.
Similarly, Touches brushed aside Team Cruel 3-1, led by a hat-trick from Dwayne Crawford in the seventh, 10th, and 17th minutes. For the loser, Mike Matheson netted in the first minute.
Meanwhile, Five O downed Slugs 2-0. Timothy Thomas and Orin Harris netted in the 12th and 19th minutes, respectively.
