Ninth-placed unit Monedderlust FC recorded the biggest shock to date in the KFC Elite League as they drew with second-place outfit and undefeated powerhouse Slingerz FC 2-2 last evening in the KFC Elite League at the National Training Centre, Providence, East Bank Demerara.

Marcus Tudor recorded the only conversion of the first half as he gave Slingerz the lead in the 22nd minute.

However, Monedderlust, who was determined not to incur another thrashing at the hands of the West Demerara outfit, as the previous encounter ended 7-0, levelled proceedings in the 53rd minute via Rayon Rose. Slingerz retook the lead in the 66th minute, as Sheldon Holder etched his name on the scorer’s sheet. Nonetheless, Monedderlust would earn a share of the spoils as Paul McDonald restored parity once more in the 76th minute.
