The EMC Foundation, an environmental organisation, recently launched its first coffee table book titled “Visual Chronicles of the Mahaica Wetlands and Mangroves”.
According to a post on its Facebook page the book was launched in observance of World Environmental Day which was observed on June 5th worldwide.
It was stated that the publication showcases “the unique ecosystems in the Mahaica Watershed and their vital role in supporting life”. The foundation said the goal is to inspire a deeper understanding, appreciation, and responsibility towards these beautiful habitats. Details will be later provided on how copies of the book can be accessed.
