Vagrant dies after struck in chest with wood during row

A vagrant was killed early Saturday evening during an argument with a man over the man’s missing brother.

Dead is Munilad Persaud, also known as Roach.

According to a police press release, the 33-year-old suspect, a sales assistant at a prominent business entity, has since been arrested and is assisting with investigations. The release said the suspect told investigators that his 35-year-old brother is a drug addict with no fixed place of abode who was often found around the Stabroek Market area in Georgetown.
