Miners and loggers as well as residents of Kwakwani, Region Ten, are expected to benefit from critical infrastructural upgrades – valued at $489 million – which are projected to bolster connectivity and accessibility in the Kwakwani sub-region, a release from the Department of Public Information (DPI) said.

Minister of Public Works,  Juan Edghill, during an inspection of the Kwakwani barge last Thursday said, “We came and we sat with the NDC and allotted $200 million and we walk with them, found out what their priorities are and we delivered on every one of those roads we committed to. Now in 2024, we are doing another $489 million in road works.”
