Pritipaul Singh Investments has committed to paying the costs for whatever repairs are needed to the Demerara Harbour Bridge after its vessel accidentally collided with it on June 4, Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill disclosed.

“Works are still ongoing but the company, Pritipaul Singh Investments has already committed to standing the costs. It includes the diving works, because they had to go down and repair the buoys that slipped at the bottom and we still have to do some alignment. So whatever the cost, they have committed,” Edghill told Stabroek News last Friday when asked for an update.
