Tertiary Basketball League II
The Linden Technical Institute (LTI) and the University of Guyana (UG) will play in the final of the Tertiary Basketball League II after contrasting victories in the respective semi-finals on Sunday night at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
LTI thrashed the Guyana School of Agriculture (GSA) by 51 points while UG fended off a challenge from the Government Technical Institute (GTI) to eventually win 60-44.
In semifinal one, LTI in the absence of GSA’s leading scorer in the tournament, Shannon Wilson, took command of the game, sprinting out to a daunting 24-3 lead early on in the game.
