Troy Sertimer, a 50-year-old clothes vendor of Lot 35 Middle Walk, Anns Grove, East Coast Demerara, was charged yesterday when he appeared in court and was fined $30,000 after pleading guilty to the offence of possession of narcotics.
The defendant appeared at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Peter Hugh, who read the charge to him, the police said in a statement.
He was arrested on June 17, 2024, with 26.9 grams of cannabis in his possession.
