Jamaine Josiah, a 28-year-old construction worker of Eccles, East Bank Demerara, was arrested by a rank from the Providence Police Station on 2024/06/14 allegedly with 907.2 grams of marijuana and charged yesterday with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. The incident occurred at Eccles.
The police yesterday said that the defendant appeared at the Diamond Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Sunil Scarce, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison.
